The company
Cartusia is an online bookshop for second-hand books: classics, coffee-table books, antique editions. Its catalog is constantly changing by nature, since every copy is unique and leaves the site once sold.
How we met
In September 2025, the site had no SEO history at all, and the team had neither the budget for an agency nor the time to write itself. What won the bookshop over: seeing production start without having to supply a brief for every article.
The challenge
A second-hand catalog cannot be ranked like a new one: there is no way to build visibility on product pages that disappear the moment they sell. It needed a stable editorial foundation that keeps working while the stock turns over.
The solution deployed for Cartusia

Set the pace from the first month
Alya writes and publishes with no brief to supply each time.
Writing scheduled at a steady weekly pace
Published straight to the site, no copy and paste
A bookseller's tone set from the very first articles
Optional review before each article goes live
Turn articles into recommendations
Every recommendation leads to what the bookshop offers.
Reading lists linked to the shop's sections
Internal links between articles on the same theme
Refresh of pages that slipped after a few months
Monthly tracking of the topics that actually bring readers
Build a foundation that does not depend on stock
Pages that stay useful even once the copy is sold.
Topics chosen for their lifespan, not for a title in stock
Extraction of the questions second-hand readers ask
Grouping into themes: care, selection, collecting
Priority given to topics the big platforms ignore
