Clause 6: AI Services and Agents
Sedestral provides its users with AI agents specialized in search engine optimization (SEO), enabling content creation, optimization, and publication, technical website auditing, rank tracking, and competitive analysis. These services rely on artificial intelligence technologies and integrations with third-party platforms (WordPress, Shopify, PrestaShop, Wix, etc.). Sedestral cannot guarantee that these services will be available at all times, without interruption or error, nor that the results obtained will meet each user's specific expectations.
Clause 7: Content Generated by Artificial Intelligence
Content generated by Sedestral's AI agents (articles, optimizations, briefs, etc.) becomes the property of the client upon creation. Sedestral does not claim any intellectual property rights over such content. However, content generated by artificial intelligence may contain inaccuracies, factual errors, or imperfect wording. It is the client's responsibility to review, verify, and validate all content before publication. Sedestral disclaims all liability for the consequences of publishing AI-generated content without prior verification by the client, particularly with regard to regulatory compliance, accuracy of information, or respect for third-party rights.

However, our liability will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the use of the Platform or Products in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

Clause 10: Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform or Products will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts, to the exclusion of any other courts. In the event of termination, you are required to cease all use of the Platform and Products. This clause applies without prejudice to acquired rights or ongoing contractual obligations that must be honored by both parties.
Clause 13: Language
These Terms are written in French. In case of conflict between the French version and a translation, the French version will prevail. This clause applies to all documents related to the Terms, including email or chat exchanges.
Clause 14: Modules and Extensions Installed on the Client's Environment
Sedestral provides modules and extensions (hereinafter "Modules") intended to be installed on the client's technical environment (PrestaShop, WordPress, Shopify, etc.). These Modules run within the client's infrastructure, over which Sedestral has no control regarding server configuration, other installed modules or extensions, or updates applied. The client remains solely responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and overall security of their technical environment. Sedestral shall not be held liable for any malfunctions resulting from incompatibilities with other modules, inadequate server configurations, or modifications made by the client to their environment.
Clause 15: Authentication Credentials and Keys
The use of Modules and the Platform may require credentials and authentication keys (tokens, API keys, or any other means of identification). The client is solely responsible for the confidentiality and security of these credentials. Any action performed using these credentials is deemed to have been carried out by the client. In the event of suspected compromise, the client undertakes to inform Sedestral without delay so that revocation can be carried out.
Clause 16: Module Security and Updates
Sedestral undertakes to fix within a reasonable timeframe any security vulnerability brought to its attention affecting its Modules. The client is obligated to apply Module updates as soon as they are made available. Maintaining an outdated version of a Module in production, when a patch is available, is the sole responsibility of the client.
Clause 17: Exclusion of Liability Related to Security
Sedestral disclaims all liability for damages resulting from the exploitation of a security vulnerability combined with a server configuration defect on the client's side, the presence of another vulnerable module in the client's environment, the client's failure to comply with their update obligation, or any other negligence in securing their technical environment.
